Objective
Identify the ideal sized solar system to optimise the capex spent and the benefits derived.
Outcome
A 189 kW optimised system designed and installed on the roofs of the packing plant. Tariff optimisation was recommended. Client remained grid-tied; no batteries were required.
Supplementing 24% of the energy required.
Solar installation integrated with the generator to provide energy security with reduced diesel consumption.
Conservative Payback period: 2 years 3 months.
